WE LOVED having Grandma and Grandpa at our home for a few days...we visited, played, told stories, went to dinner, and of course my dad helped with a few projects around the house! They installed an AC unit in our bedroom and it is a lifesaver! He and Beau made a great team. We loved taking them to one of Grandpa's favorite restaurants...Texas Roadhouse. They were a lot of help getting things ready for Callie's baby blessing as well. We are so lucky to have spent one on one time with them. Decker loves them and Callie does already too! I feel so blessed that they were able to meet and love on my sweet baby. They wouldn't have normally met her until she was about 16 months old...crazy to think because of this miracle....so grateful the Lord knows us and our needs.
Decker has had a fear of marching bands ever since the week before the 4th of July as Bonneville High Schools marching band came down our street to practice for the parade....even mentioning the words "marching band" sets him off and he comes running and crying and it takes a good 10 minutes to calm him down...but! Leave it to grandma Bell to fix that fear while she was here....she hates for anyone to be afraid of ANYTHING! So after dinner Grandma and Decker made their own marching band and it was so cute! By the end Decker was saying, "Marching band fun mom!!" Thank you Grandma Bell for calming his fears and turning them into a wonderful memory! WE love you both and loved having you!
