4th of July fun!

WE had a LONG 4th of July and crammed in a lot! The night before we were invited to Barron's to watch a personal firework show but the cops came and were not too nice...scared the kids and so the show was a bust! The next morning we were able to start off by heading to the parade with our friends the Barrons! Decker loved the parade! Then it was off to the greenbelt with Aunt Megan and Uncle Cam and their kids to see all the vendors and walk around! Then we headed to the Chukars game. It was a lot of fun but very very hot!!! The kids were pretty dang good considering being on the go all day! Then we walked to the park to watch the fireworks. The show was delayed by an hour as a spectator jumped in river to swim to Keefer's island and drowned...so so sad. The fireworks were worth the wait and the kids loved them. What a sad day for that guys family. Grateful for our country and the freedoms we share. God Bless America.
