Well this post is long over due!!! I have dreaded writing it because it meant going through the pictures and re-living the goodbye!!!! SAD DAY!!! My parents were able to talk in their ward and it was awesome to hear them and their testimonies. After we were all there to witness their setting apart. What a great experience to watch the priesthood in my family take part in this. We had a yummy luncheon at Troy and Jamies House and then it meant one step closer to them leaving. We had a wonderful weekend watching Brennan wrestle at State and then it was time to say goodbye to my parents for 18 months as they headed off to Houston, TX to serve a mission! My sister Heidi bought their home so the last night before they left they stayed at the Ameritel and so we all headed over to say our goodbyes, swim, and visit. It was hard to have a good time together knowing we were going to have to say goodbye in a short time. Then it was time....we headed up to the room and said our goodbyes. It was so hard. I have tried to pretend like it wasn't coming so it hit hard and fast. Lots of hugs, tears, and love!!!! We are so proud of them and their choice to serve the Lord. We love you mom and dad....grandma and grandpa!
